I worked for three years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King’s College London, where I have designed and led seminars on eighteenth and nineteenth-century music for undergraduate survey courses, and also for elective courses related directly to my research specialisms. Instrumental Music Teaching
I am an experienced music educator with ten years of private music teaching. For five of those years, I enjoyed a position as a clarinet, piano and theory tutor at a leading London secondary school. I am now the clarinet teacher at Portobello Music School in Edinburgh, where I also teach privately.
I hold a first class Music degree from King’s College London where I specialised in performance (clarinet), receiving lessons from Mark Van de Wiel and Angela Malsbury at the Royal Academy of Music.
I welcome enquiries from pupils of all ages who are currently in full or part time education and are interested in clarinet, piano or music theory lessons. Please get in touch using the form below.
